Precision for Medicine Acquires ACT Oncology         


Executive Director, Clinical Operations

Heidi has over 20 years of expertise in the clinical research and pharmaceutical services industry managing Phase I-IV oncology trials including disease registries and expanded access trials.  In her role as Executive Director, Clinical and Data Operations, Heidi’s main objective is to develop highly trained project teams with exceptional capabilities in clinical and data operations to ensure the successful delivery of a high quality product to our clients. Heidi also provides client oversight as a global Executive Sponsor. Additionally, Heidi is a member of the Executive Team and actively supports the management and oversight of ACT Oncology. Heidi has been with ACT Oncology since 2006.  

Prior to joining ACT Oncology, Heidi was employed by Covance in increasing roles of responsibility including Project Manager and Global Project Director focused on the implementation, management and strategic leadership of oncology studies.  Following Covance, Heidi was the Director of Clinical and Project Management at ORION Clinical Services North America where she worked on various oncology indications and product types. Heidi has in-depth experience in many areas of oncology with most her most current experience in immuno-oncology including multiple solid tumors, multiple myeloma and lymphoma. Throughout her career, Heidi has managed a variety of trials ranging from North American-only trials to international mega registration trials (>1,000 patients) overseeing the clinical, data, and financial aspects of these programs, and establishing and overseeing Oncology End Point Committees and Data Monitoring Committees.  Additionally, Heidi had the privilege to work as member of the development team for Herceptin®. Her experience encompasses the entire clinical trial process from the engagement of key opinion leaders in study design through registration.

Heidi received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Rider University and her nursing degree from Bucks County Community College.
